Learning Resources

At Wrexham University, we’re dedicated to equipping you with the tools and resources you need to achieve your academic goals. Whether it’s access to technology, study environments, or specialised facilities, we’ve got you covered. This page will guide you through the key resources on offer, what they include, and how to make the most of the support available to you.

Understanding Learning Resources

It’s helpful to know what qualifies as a learning resource so you can make the most of what’s available. Here’s a simple breakdown:

Included as Learning Resources:

  • Textbooks and eBooks: Core reading materials tailored to your courses.
  • Study Spaces: Quiet zones and collaborative areas designed for productive study.
  • Digital Tools: Academic software and platforms like Microsoft 365, Moodle, and Adobe Creative Cloud to support your learning.
  • Specialised Equipment: Hands-on facilities such as labs, workshops, and professional-grade equipment.

Not Included as Learning Resources:

  • Non-Academic Services: Items like car parking or food and drink are not considered learning resources.
  • General Amenities: Facilities such as campus cafes or gyms, while valuable for well-being, are not directly tied to academic work.

Understanding what qualifies as a learning resource ensures you can access the tools and spaces you need to excel in your studies.
