Derwyn Owen

Derwyn was Head of Corporate Property and Landlord Services at Liverpool City Council to the end of August 2023, and has comprehensive prior experience in property transformation and change management of services within both the public, private and Higher Education sectors.
He is currently a Board Member with North Wales Housing Association as well as the Secretary and past President to the North Wales Society of Architects and a past Board Member of the Royal Society of Architects in Wales.
Prior posts include the Director Lead for Corporate Landlord and Assets Optimisation at Derby County Council, and Head of Corporate Property and Landlord Services at Walsall Council together with the post of Director of Estates, Facilities and Campus Services at Bangor University and Director and Head of Property at Conwy Council, where he implemented and delivered revenue efficiencies, business performance improvements, customer alignments, systems configurations and income generation in conjunction with Trade Unions engagements.
