To meet the English Language Entry Requirements at Wrexham University, International students are expected to have achieved one of the qualifications listed below. All certificates/qualifications accepted are assessed based on their equivalence to 6.0 overall and a minimum of 5.5 in each component of the IELTS for UKVI (Academic) test. Selected programmes require grades equivalent to IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each skill score.


If you are a national of a UKVI Approved Majority English Speaking Country or you have completed a degree in a UKVI Approved Majority English Speaking Country in the last 5 years you will be exempt from meeting this requirement, more information can be found on https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/knowledge-of-english
