Moot Court Room
Designed to replicate the court room setting, our moot room allows students to be engaged in trials and deepen their learning by taking part in legal cases.
Equipped with audio and video equipment for ‘suspects’ and ‘witnesses’ to provide testimony and statements, students can apply their theory to simulated scenarios.

Custody Unit
Our Custody Unit, featuring a custody desk donated from Denbeigh police Station will feature equipment such as finger printing software and will allow students to experience the full journey of persons in police custody.

Interview Room
After being checked in at our custody suite, our multi-functional interview room supports Policing students with scenario-based study, as well as other subject areas.

Cyber Innovation Academy
Our latest addition, developed in collaboration with Cyber Wales, the CIA provides students with a cutting-edge cyber security hub.
The space also includes a cyber escape room, which will not only be available to students but also staff from the military, police, NHS and local authorities for their learning.

Tŷ Dysgu
Tŷ Dysgu/Learning House is our residential home right on campus. This versatile space, which is also used for our annual Major Incident simulations with local emergency services, can stage a variety of scenarios for students to work independently, or interprofessionally with other disciplines. Students from all our allied health degrees will gain a feel for working in the home environment.
Whether they are a policing or paramedic science student responding to an incident with casualties, or forensic science student scouring the home for evidence linked to a crime, Tŷ Dysgu will bring our students as close as possible to real life scenarios. .
