Moot Court Room

Our Moot Court Room replicates a real courtroom, giving students the chance to engage in simulated trials. Equipped with audio-visual tech for witness and suspect testimony, it offers a hands-on environment where students apply legal theory to realistic scenarios, building confidence and practical skills in legal practice.

Custody Unit

Featuring a custody desk donated by Denbigh Police Station, our Custody Unit allows students to experience the full journey of individuals in police custody. With fingerprinting software and other equipment, it provides an immersive learning space for understanding procedures and developing practical policing skills.

Interview Room

Following check-in at the custody suite, students use our multi-functional Interview Room for scenario-based learning. Equipped with 360° cameras, it records simulated interviews between officers and suspects, allowing students to review and refine their techniques, communication styles, and professional approach across a range of disciplines.

Cyber Innovation Academy

Developed with Cyber Wales, the Cyber Innovation Academy is a state-of-the-art hub for cyber security learning. It features a cyber escape room used by students and professionals alike, including the military, police, NHS, and local authorities, offering hands-on experience in tackling real-world digital threats.

Tŷ Dysgu

Tŷ Dysgu is our on-campus residential learning space, used for realistic training scenarios across allied health degrees.

From paramedics responding to emergencies to forensic students investigating crime scenes, it offers hands-on experience in a home environment, helping students develop practical skills in interprofessional and independent settings.
