Biomechanics Lab
Our Biomechanics and Performance Sciences Laboratory is packed with industry-leading equipment which rivals leading sporting organisations.
Focused on strength, conditioning, recovery and analysis, the lab allows students and guests to drill down into the data and statistics behind sporting performance. Bi-folding doors also allow the space to be expanded and utilise outdoor space.
The Laboratory will support students, academics, researchers and sporting clubs to explore how exercise can help to understand how the human body works, with the goal of improving performance and reducing risk of injury.

Hockey Pitch
Our Hockey Stadium is a floodlit, water-based international FIH accredited facility located on the University's Wrexham campus.
The pitch has hosted several international hockey matches involving Wales and was the venue for the men's EuroHockey Nations Trophy.

Colliers Park
Our Colliers Park facility includes two top quality grass pitches, a FIFA quality 3G pitch, plus off-pitch support facilities such as activation areas, learning suites and changing facilities. The facility allows students to work and study in a professional football environment and is utilised by local and national teams, with students benefitting from analysing matches at all levels in football.
We also have a state-of-the-art education facility incorporated for our Sports Science and Sports Coaching degree students to use.

Sports Centre
The Sports Centre houses a 1000sq. m. hall, with a top-quality maple strip sprung floor. The hall is overlooked by an open balcony and an enclosed spectator area on the first floor. There is also a fully equipped gym which students can access at a discounted rate.
The facility complies with national competition standards for badminton, netball, basketball, volleyball and futsal.
