Catrin Finch Centre
Located on our Wrexham campus, the Catrin Finch Centre is ideal for conferences, meetings, training courses, exhibitions and receptions, and for small scale theatre productions, plays, smaller music events and creative art workshops. The purpose-built conference and performance centre offers unparalleled facilities with high-tech audio and visual technology.
A generous foyer reception area with an abundance of natural light welcomes your delegates and is ideal for registration, displays and exhibitions, as well as those all-important refreshment breaks.
Our large auditorium has room for up to 230 delegates. A moveable wall system converts the space into two smaller auditoriums, perfect for smaller conferences or events with simultaneous keynote speakers. There is also the option of comfortable tiered seating in the auditorium. In addition the centre also boasts two seminar rooms and two small boardrooms, ideal for break-out sessions or for smaller meetings.
Within the centre, you will also find a Starbucks café (08:00 – 14:00hrs) providing a variety of refreshments.
The centre is named after the world famous harpist, arranger and composer Catrin Finch, who has contributed significantly to promoting the harp and classical music to new and wider audiences. Catrin offically opened the centre in 2009.
