Current research towards the award of a Doctoral degree supervised within the Built Environment team involves capturing value and reducing impact during the operation and maintenance (management) of UK residential housing.

Tŷ Eco

Wrexham University has been invited by Tŷ Eco, a local construction company, to monitor the design, construction and occupation of an affordable, energy-efficient social housing prototype in Minera, Wrexham.

This research project is currently underway, with opportunity for students to observe aspects of the project. The energy use and building performance will be monitored over a three year period.
