Peer Review
The peer reviewer role is vital in helping us maintain high academic standards and support fellow researchers.
What is Peer Review?
Peer review means reading a colleague’s submission carefully and providing helpful, respectful feedback. Your review helps authors improve their work and ensures only high-quality research is published.
Why Peer Review?
- Support your academic community.
- Gain insight into other research in your field.
- Build your CV with valuable peer review experience.
Should You Accept a Review Invitation?
Ask yourself:
- Is the paper related to your expertise?
- Can you meet the deadline (usually 3 weeks)?
- Do you have enough time for a careful, thoughtful review?
If you’re unsure, it’s okay to say no or ask for more time.
