Bernadette Evans

Senior Lecturer in Nursing

Bernadette has been a registered nurse for over 30 years and has worked within acute medicine, stroke rehabilitation and community settings, and has a particular interest in the care of the older adult which has been the focus of her post graduate studies. Having a passion to become a nurse educator to support the learning and development of others, she began working in higher education in 2004 and has experience of teaching across health and nursing programmes.

In her spare time, she likes walking and gardening, spending time with her family and friends and going to home to Ireland.
