Cerys Alonso

After completing her BA(Hons) Applied Arts at Edinburgh College of Art, Cerys studied part time whilst working at Wrexham University to gain her MA Contemporary Applied Arts.

With over 25 years experience as a maker and educator, Cerys is currently studying for a PhD examining links between exposure to craft materials in childhood and the relationship to material choice as professional makers.

Cerys has a breadth of experience in numerous materials however her main focus is Jewellery and Silversmithing. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and received several awards.
