Christine Woolford

Christine has over 18 years of experience working within education, including the Early Years, Primary and HE sectors with a particular focus on the inclusion of ALN/SEN. She holds an ALSA qualification from the British Dyslexia Association, and prior to this worked for a children's charity working with young people suffering from grief, loss and bereavement.

After gaining her Foundation Degree in Early Years and Children Integrated Practice, she completed her BA (Hons) Education at Wrexham University. She returned to complete her PGCE (PCET), and MA Education (Teaching and Learning).

Christine works at Wrexham University across a variety of levels including short course development and delivery, teaching on the Undergraduate Education programmes, and Post Compulsory Education and Training. Her current research areas include exploring how to develop a sense of community and belonging in online learning, and how play and outdoor learning contribute to holistic child development.
