Dominic Doherty
Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science (Football Development)
Dominic joined Wrexham University in October 2024 and is a lecturer within the football coaching department as well as the manager of the University's men's football team. Dom has been coaching for 11 years in a variety of environments both nationally and internationally.
He is a UEFA B licenced coach and has worked for professional clubs globally including Everton, Manchester City, and Chicago Fire. He also holds a first-class honors degree from Edgehill University and a Masters in Leadership in Sport with a distinction from the University of South Wales.
He also holds roles at Everton within their academy and at Cymru North team Mold Alexandra F.C. as player/coach.
