Emma transitioned to academia in 2018 when she accepted a full time lecturer post in Human Resource Management in the North Wales Business School at Wrexham University.  Prior to this Emma worked for over twenty years in Human Resources, predominantly in employment relations, working with senior leaders in areas such as change management, organisational design, TUPE, employment tribunals, as well as other HR/industry related practices.

Since 2018 Emma has been programme leader for the MA HRM, Online MBA and MSc International Management Suite within the business school.  Emma continues to oversee the MSc programme, and Online provision for business.

Emma has a Masters in Human Resource Management, and PGCert.  She currently is currently a HEA fellow and is working towards her Senior Fellow application.

Emma is currently undertaking her MPhil/PhD in job satisfaction and motivation within the Welsh HE sector.
