Francesca Allsop

I qualified in dietetics in 2019 after five years of studying in higher education. Since qualification I have worked in multiple dietetic roles in both NHS England and NHS Wales. I have a mixed community and acute care background. I have had specialist roles in surgery and oncology since qualifying.

In December 2020 I joined HMP Berwyn, the largest prison in the UK and independently set up a dietetics service within the prison. I will continue my prison dietitian role alongside lecturing at Glyndwr university.
I have lived in Wrexham since 2015 and I am proud to call it my home.

My hobbies include walking, wild swimming, cooking and keeping my social media profiles up to date with all things dietetic and food related.
