Picture of staff member

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Barcelona, followed by an MSc in Clinical Psychology of Children and Adolescents. After that, I worked as an Assistant Psychologist in Barcelona before moving to the UK in 2014. While I worked as an Assistant Psychologist for the BCUHB, I pursued an MRes in Research in Psychology and later completed my PhD in Social Timing in Autism at Bangor University, which I was awarded in 2024.

I have joined as lecturer at Wrexham University this 2024, while I continue my research into ASD and therapies for children with communication difficulties in collaboration with the BCUHB.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, playing video games, and cuddling with my cat, Spock.

Research Interests

My research focuses on autism, particularly in the development of social timing and non-verbal communication. I also specialize in the use of observational coding measures to analyze behavior. My work involves research with patients, and I have experience in evaluating therapies for autistic individuals.
