Karen Cartwright

I am a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy and Practice Education Lead for the undergraduate physiotherapy programme.  I qualified as a physiotherapist from University of Brighton in 1993 and am currently studying towards a Professional Doctorate in Education.

I worked within the NHS and independent sectors for nearly 30 years, covering acute, community and education settings.  I specialized for some time in acute care then later within the area of learning disabilities.

I have an interest in widening participation and more specifically the area of disability and accessing education.
