Kathryn graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, with a First Class Honours degree in History. She returned to Aberystwyth to complete her PhD on ‘The Practice and Procedure of the House of Commons, 1660-1714’. She has published on parliamentary history, First World War memorials and aspects of social and cultural life relating to North East Wales
Kathryn teaches modules in social, cultural and political history at undergraduate level, and has developed short courses on Family and Community History and Celtic Studies. She is also a Programme Leader for MA Local History, which focuses on north-east Wales.
