Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing

Kelly qualified as a RVN in 2015 and has since gone on to complete the ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing, the ISFM Advanced Certificate in Feline Behaviour, and has recently achieved a Masters of Research in Anthrozoology where she looked at the owners ability to recognise chronic dental pain in cats.

Kelly was Clinical Lead for the Royal Canin Feline Healthy Ageing Clinic at the University of Liverpool for 7 years, and now has an Honorary Research Associate role for the project, which aims to extend the quality of life in ageing cats through research and education.

Kelly is a Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Nursing at Wrexham University, and has a passion for ensuring student veterinary nurses go on to qualify and excel within the veterinary profession.

Kelly is the Vice Chair for the BSAVA Congress Committee, and regularly speaks online and at conferences.
