Dr Kirsty Fuller

Hello! My name is Kirsty and I am a lecturer on the BA (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS and on the Primary education PGCE.
My background is in primary education, as a class teacher, subject leader, and school principal. I have taught in both England and North Wales but spent the most significant proportion of my career so far in international schools in Germany. I have worked within culturally and linguistically diverse environments and student-centred contexts with creative, process driven curricula.
My approach to education maintains an orientation towards education for developing human capacities, including those for compassion, empathy, and care. It also underscores the value of engaging in educational practices which develop students who are critical thinkers, civically engaged citizens, and resilient individuals.
