I am an experienced staff nurse that has worked my 20-year career in Theatres at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital. I worked clinically in anaesthetics and recovery but in 2021, I became the Practice Facilitator for theatres where my role was to support both staff and students in the clinical environment.
I decided to have a change of career and move into academia to become a lecturer in Operational Department Practice as of September 2023.
I have commenced the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching.
