Sarah Lawson
Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy
Sarah is an Occupational Therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Sarah qualified as an Occupational Therapist via the part-time route from Wrexham University (then Glyndŵr University) in 2010 and is now a Senior Lecturer within the team.
Sarah has experience of working as a community occupational therapist within social services and within a major cancer research hospital.
Sarah is a member of and a previous volunteer for the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
Research Interests
PhD research exploring CPD engagement and occupational therapists' use of the TRAMm Model as a framework for their continuing professional development.

Mentor for Elizabeth Casson Trust The Elizabeth Casson Trust is investing in a mentoring programme for occupational therapists. The intention is for a mentoring programme to be available across the occupational therapy profession for individuals at all stages of their career journey. I acted as a Mentor during the second pilot study to a registered occupational therapist working in social care. This role has helped me to further develop my mentoring skills. |
