With significant commercial experience in IT and Information security spanning several decades Shawn has a wealth of experience. He has worked in banking and finance as a security lead and Cyber Specialist as well as the public sector, for both central and local government. He is a qualified teacher and has more recently held senior instructor roles focusing on privilege management, security standards and frameworks.
Shawn has developed Cyber Security modules in Cryptography, Risk management and Cloud Computing. He is a Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) has BSc in IT and Computer Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics.
