Before joining Wrexham, Teresa worked in a local Welsh medium primary school, supporting and creating learning opportunities for the pupils to enjoy and develop in their knowledge and pride through the Curriculum for Wales.

Before that, she worked for seven years at the National Library of Wales, looking after the treasured archives of Wales and contributing to some of their big digital projects.  After moving to North Wales, she then worked for Flintshire Record Office for five years, offering a Welsh language service to their customers.

Teresa graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Welsh from Aberystwyth University in 2005.

Teresa is passionate about supporting Welsh language learners in their journey to becoming fluent speakers and believes that giving them the right learning opportunities is crucial to building their confidence to reach their potential.  In her spare time, Teresa enjoys taking part in various creative workshops and spending time in her local area of Flintshire, where she is inspired by its people and beautiful scenery.
