Ebony Banks started at the University as a student in 2015, completing her undergraduate degree in Hospitality Tourism and Events Management, before undertaking her Master of Business Administration postgraduate degree.
Ebony Served as the Students’ Union Vice-President and Students’ Union President at Wrexham University’s Students Union during 2019-2020 & 2020-2021. During this time Ebony served as a Student Governor and ran several campaigns relating to mental health, women’s health, and sustainability.
Following her term as a sabbatical officer, Ebony began her career working as an administrator in the Vice-Chancellors Executive Officer, where she also undertook a range of practical short courses including first aid training, fire marshal training, mental health first aid training, and IOSH managing safely, before beginning her role as Secretariat Manager.
As part of her role, Ebony provides support to the General Counsel and University Secretary and to the Board of Governors.
