About the Enterprise Team at Wrexham University
Playing a key role in the business community in North Wales, the Enterprise Team at Wrexham University collaborates with organisations of all sizes and sectors—from small start-ups to global corporations. Key Focus Areas
The Enterprise Team covers four key focus areas: Knowledge Transfer (KT) and Innovation & Commercialisation (I&C); the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem; Continued Professional Development (CPD); and Work-Related Learning.
The Innovation and Commercialisation (I&C) team is part of the wider Enterprise team, and its primary role is to assist with the commercialisation journey of university innovators as well as facilitate our Knowledge Transfer Initiatives.

The Entrepreneurship team, embedded in the wider Enterprise team, is committed to developing a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. It supports students, graduates, and staff in developing entrepreneurial skills and mindsets through a range of in-curricular and extracurricular initiatives. The team provides guidance at every stage of the start-up journey, from idea development to securing funding, helping to nurture innovation and business growth within the university community and beyond.
