Entrepreneurship support

Enhancing Entrepreneurship provides students and graduates of Wrexham University with a range of opportunities to help develop their enterprise skills or to support them in starting a new business. Whether you're interested in starting a business, freelancing or being your own boss, the Enhancing Entrepreneurship team is here to help.

Events

We offer events across the year organised both internally and in collaboration with external partners. Events range from short one hour sessions to full-day conferences, and include topics of interest to those at all stages of self-employment or just wanting to develop their entrepreneurial skills. One-to-One Support

Students and graduates can access one-to-one business start-up support to help develop ideas, discuss steps and possible funding for self-employment, or discuss how to grow an existing business.

This is a bookable service on specific dates throughout the year. Please contact enhance@glyndwr.ac.uk to book your meeting.

Ongoing Business Mentoring

As a follow on to the one-to one-meetings, we also have a number of local business professionals, some of which are previous students of Wrexham, who have kindly agreed to be on a list of business mentors for Wrexham students and graduates.

Business Space

Through our service, we also offer flexible business start-up space for students and graduates to run their businesses.

Enterprise Lounge - Offering affordable shared office space on the main campus, ideal for early-stage businesses with desks starting at only £12 per week.

Principal’s House - Individual and flexible office spaces at our Regent Street Campus. Facilities include shared meeting/training rooms and a shared kitchen. Ideal for start-ups who wish to grow.
