What you will study

STEM Summer School

You will study three modules covering a range of topics relating to the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field. Furthermore, you will study one English language module designed to address the English language needs of non‑native speakers studying or working in the STEM field.

Year 1 (Level 6)

Our Cyber Security degree is industry-focused, ensuring you have the tools and techniques needed to meet the growing national skills gap in this sector. You will acquire the practical skillsets to counter emerging threats, and to maintain the overall security of a system whilst learning through immersive and gamified environments.

Entry requirements & applying

For direct entry to the top up provisions, applicants must have achieved a qualification at Level 5 or better in a relevant discipline.

Entry to the programme may be gained by students who can present one of the pieces of evidence listed below:

  • Have passed a Dip HE in a relevant discipline
  • Have passed a French DUT
  • Have achieved a minimum of 120 ECTS credits in a relevant discipline
  • Have passed a Foundation Degree or HND in a cognate discipline
  • Have passed a qualification from an EU or other overseas country equivalent, as defined as equivalent NARIC, to a DipHE or better in a relevant discipline. Such as State Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) or Mittelland Higher Technical (Höhere Fachschule Technik Mittelland)
