  As an institution, we require all authorised recruitment partners to work within and promote the principles of the National Code of Ethical Practice.

  We require all agents to:

  • Operate with integrity
  • Advise objectively
  • Show professional competence and due care
  • Work transparently
  • Work within the UK GDPR guidelines
  • Act Professionally

  All authorised recruitment partners are required to complete the British Council UK agent or Counsellor training programme and be registered on the British Council Database of Certified Agents.

  Our authorised recruitment agents can help guide you and inform you on a number of different things, such as:
  
  

  • Providing correct information on fees and our international scholarships.
  • Advise on entry requirements both academic & English language.
  • Update you on your application progress.
  • Help with your VISA application.
  • Inform you on the accommodation options in Wrexham.

  It's really important that you take the time to research all of our authorised representatives in your region and work with the agent that is right for you. The "Student Guide to Choosing an Education Agent" is an important resource developed by the British Council that helps students to understand their options when selecting an authorised representative to work with.
  
  At Wrexham University, we want all our students’ application experience to be professional, straight forward and efficient. This includes students who are also applying through an agency. If you experience any difficulties or behaviour you feel is unprofessional when working with an agent, then please contact international@wrexham.ac.uk and put this for the attention of Daniel Griffiths – International Marketing and Recruitment Manager who will investigate this as a matter of urgency
