Youth & Community
The Youth and Community team at Wrexham work at the heart of today’s crucial issues by aiding young people’s development and co-creating and collaborating with marginalised communities.
Youth Work research is a quietly burning ember. We’re opening up honest conversations about race equality, reflecting on Youth Work teaching and practice, examining the enormous benefits of International Youth Work, and critically considering how adverse childhood experiences shape Youth Work practice, all through rarely adopted methodological approaches, such as the Voice-Centred Relational approach and Contextual Analyses. Our research mirrors the degrees we offer, which are professionally endorsed by national Occupational and Professional standards in the area.
