Research Culture Grant

The Research Culture Grant is available for all staff and postgraduate researcher students to apply for funding to deliver initiatives that will create a lasting, positive impact on our research community.
This fund supports well-defined projects that foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainable improvements to our research culture. Key themes for this funding opportunity include a strong focus on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, supporting projects that actively embed and advance EDIA principles within the research environment. Another key area is Wellbeing, encouraging initiatives that promote wellness and healthy working practices for researchers at all career stages.
The grant also supports activities aimed at building the Research Community, particularly those that strengthen connections, foster collaboration, and promote a shared identity within the Wrexham University research community.
Finally, there is an emphasis on Promoting Interdisciplinarity, with a focus on projects that bridge disciplines, encourage cross-faculty collaboration, and spark innovative research partnerships.

- Open to all Wrexham University staff and postgraduate research students
- Applications can be made individually or as a team
- Collaborative, cross-disciplinary proposals are strongly encouraged
