Andrew Woods
Senior Lecturer in Hospitality and Tourism
Andy Woods is the Programme leader for International Tourism, Hospitality, and Business Management at the North Wales Business School, Wrexham University. He holds a masters degree in MSc Food Science and Innovation and a BA (Hons) in Education Studies.
Before going into academia Andy worked in many sectors across the Hospitality industry, which included hotels, restaurants, pubs, and event catering. Prior to starting at Wrexham University Andy worked within the FE sector, initially at West Cheshire College as a Lecturer and Programme leader, before moving onto a Curriculum Directors position at Coleg Cambria.
Throughout his career, Andy has worked in many leadership and management areas. Andy is currently undertaking a doctoral degree (EdD) in Education. Outside of work, Andy likes to spend time with his family, travel and eat out.
