Working over 19 years of dedicated experience in emergency care, I have established a special interest in pediatric emergency care. I began my journey working for the NHS in a dynamic emergency department, followed by 3 1/2 years specializing in Paediatrics intensive care and gaining my PG(Cert) in Paediatrics intensive care nursing, honing skills in managing critically ill children's and developing a deep understanding of the complexities of pediatric Health.
I they moved back into Emergency care for both the adults and Paediatrics population, cultivating a special interest in care of the critically ill patient as well as trauma care, reflecting my commitment to provide comprehensive and compassionate care in high-pressure situations. As an Advanced Life Support instructor, and a Advanced Paediatrics Life support Instructor, I continue to be passionate about educating fellow healthcare professionals, ensuring high standards of care are upheld in emergency settings.
Currently I am leveraging my extensive experience in in a practice development role within the NHS, focusing on emerging care practices in emergency care.
I am dedicated to advancing the quality of emergency care delivery, championing innovative strategies that enhance and support patient outcomes and support healthcare teams.
I hope that everyday I continue to make an impact on the lives of children and their families in crisis, and aim to embody the values of compassion, excellence and leadership in nursing.
