I have been a qualified nurse since 2004, after completing my nursing course at Wrexham University. After qualifying in adult nursing I worked at Wrexham Maelor hospital on a surgical ward and then went on to work in Adult Intensive care for 8 years. Following this I worked at Glan Clwyd Hospital as a senior staff nurse on the Neonatal Unit were I gained a keen interest in Neonatal care. Throughout my nursing career I have been a mentor for nursing students which I very much enjoyed which has now lead me to my current role as an Adult Nurse Lecturer at Wexham University where I am excited to share my skills and knowledge with future nurses.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, walking and horse riding.
