Improving Reading Confidence and Skills of Primary School Children: Comparing Reading to a Dog, Robotic Dog and Teacher as Usual Scenarios | Contribution to the research | Developing strong literacy skills can greatly enhance an individual's psychological wellbeing and overall life satisfaction. However, motivating children to develop these skills can be challenging. Innovative learning methods are essential for engaging children in learning, and it is especially important to encourage reading from an early age. This study aims to explore children's experiences with reading to robotic dogs, live dogs, and reading with a teacher using a mixed methods approach. |
