Julie has 35 years, experience in physiotherapy and specialises in cardiorespiratory care and leadership.

Julie has worked in a number of health organisations, including Liverpool Heart and Chest NHS Foundation Trust, where she was Head of Allied Health Professions, and Betsi Cadwaladwr University Health Board, where she was the Clinical Director of Posture and Mobility.

Whilst working at the Countess of Chester NHS Trust, Julie was also an Associate Teacher on the cardiorespiratory module for the undergraduate Physiotherapy programme at Liverpool University.

Julie joined the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences in October 2018 to develop a new undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy and has subsequently supported the development and management of a range of Allied Health Programmes.
