I joined Wrexham University in 2020 where I undertook my MRes (Dist) studies in Psychology, looking at modality-specific language and imagery. This was a return to higher education, following a number of years in industry, working in various international roles including HR, change management and training. I completed my BSc Psychology degree (1st Class) at Cardiff University. I started my career in Quality Control (QC) analysis within the fragrance and flavour industry which has fuelled my research interests in modality-specific (olfactory) cognition, an area I am further investigating in my ongoing MPhil / PhD studies.

I have recently joined the Psychology team as Psychology Administrator, working part-time in this role alongside my MPhil / PhD studies and I am a sessional lecturer in the online MSc Psychology programme. I have worked in the Careers and Employability Service within the university since the start of 2024 and I am also an active member of the research community at Wrexham University, having been awarded joint Researcher Developer of the Year in 2024.
