Picture of staff member

I started my career working as a Sports Therapist with a variety of high performance athletes and teams, having initially achieved a first class honours degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Central Lancashire. I later went on to achieve a distinction from Liverpool John Moores University in Clinical Exercise Physiology (MSc).

I have held positions as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire, Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy at Edge Hill University, and now as Lecturer in Sports Injury and Rehabilitation at Wrexham University.

I have also been a Director of The Society of Sports Therapists. My research interests revolve around two main areas - athlete clinical assessment and musculoskeletal professional practice. I have additional skills of musculoskeletal ultrasound which I incorporate into my clinical research.
