Before joining Wrexham University, Liam worked as a clinical veterinary nurse in a range of general practice and referral clinics in the UK. He then spent several years teaching student veterinary nurses in further education.
He studied for an undergraduate degree in Animal Behaviour at Chester University and has recently achieved an Advanced Veterinary Nursing qualification.
His teaching interests include anaesthesia and critical care.
Liam continues to keep his clinical skills up to date through regular veterinary locum work.
