Liz Lefroy

Senior Lecturer In Social Care/Participation Coordinator

Picture of staff member

A graduate of Durham, Bristol and Keele Universities, I worked in education and social care in both statutory and third sectors in Edinburgh, West Lothian, Berkshire, and Shropshire before joining Wrexham University in 2006.

As a senior lecturer, my practice, both in teaching and writing, has centred in developing communities of learning embedded in the principles of participation and coproduction. My collaboration with, and facilitation of, the Outside In group of individuals and carers with lived experience of health and social care services has been the essence of this practice.
