Natalie McKinstry

I bring a wealth of practical experience to my role as Clinical Placement Support Tutor at Wrexham University. My career in animal care began with a two-year apprenticeship as a trainee zoo keeper at my local zoo in Colwyn Bay, where I later became a zoo keeper working with a diverse range of species.

In 2007, I transitioned into veterinary nursing, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2015. Since joining Wrexham University in 2022, my focus has been supporting students during their clinical placements, combining extensive hands-on expertise with a passion for education and professional development.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys family life and is kept busy by her two young children.
