Siân Lewis

Siân has been registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an Adult Nurse since March 2011. Her clinical career is diverse ranging from acute cardiac care, orthopaedics, and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).

In 2015, she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN), qualifying as a Health Visitor. She practiced as a Health Visitor within the NHS for ten years, working in partnership with children, families and communities to promote health, prevent illness and reduce health inequalities.

She subsequently transitioned into higher education and is currently a Senior Lecturer at Wrexham University, where she contributes to the delivery of the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing programme for both Health Visiting and School Nursing students. Siân is committed to integrating and applying contemporary evidence and theoretical knowledge to professional practice.
