Wrexham University has agreed upon a three-year partnership with Ultimate Player HQ; a football coaching platform that provides students on the University’s football coaching courses access to technology, practical coaching resources and tools to help them plan, deliver and develop effective training sessions.
Resources include thousands of animated coaching sessions and session-planning tools to help them develop their coaching knowledge.
Jordan Haskell, Founder of Ultimate Player HQ, said: “The aim of the partnership is to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical coaching, equipping students with the resources and technology to enhance their development and prepare for future careers within football.
“We’re delighted to be working with Wrexham University as it gives us a great opportunity to support the next generation of football coaches.”
Sarah Hilton, Senior Lecturer in Football and Coaching Science, added: “We’re really pleased to be working with Ultimate Player HQ to further enhance the learning experience for our football students at Wrexham University. The partnership gives our students access to industry relevant coaching resources and technology that can be embedded directly into their learning and practical coaching development. It’s a great example of how we can connect academic study with the realities of coaching practice and better prepare students for careers within the game.”
