Nina Patterson
Senior Lecturer in Health and Well-being
I spent my childhood overseas (mainly in Asia) and graduated from an American High School in Taipei, Taiwan. I then returned to my homeland of Scotland where I completed an MA (Hons) Psychology degree at The University of Edinburgh. I have worked within the NHS in various health improvement/health promotion roles for 15 years. I have designed, delivered and evaluated health improvement interventions in both workplace and community settings, primarily focused on mental health & wellbeing. In the 5 years prior to coming to Wrexham University, I was based within the Caia Park Health Team, Wrexham, as the Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner in a community-based health improvement service.
