Peter graduated with a First Class Honours degree in History from Wrexham University before completing his MA at Manchester University. As a result of his studies, he was nominated for a Royal Historical Society Award, and his work on the guilds of Chester was published in a prestigious regional journal.
While at Wrexham University, Peter has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Development. He is also currently enrolled on a PhD which considers urban identity in North East Wales.
Peter teaches on modules in social, political and cultural history, from the early modern period up to the twentieth century. He also runs Wrexham University’s course in Family and Community History, and is a contributor to the course in Celtic Studies.
