Sara Hilton
Senior Lecturer in Football and Coaching Science
Sara is a senior lecturer and UEFA A Licence coach who teaches mainly on the BSc (Hons) Football Coaching and the Performance Specialist degree, where her main area of focus is Football Coaching and Coach Education.
In 2017, Sara completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Continued Professional Development, and as such became an Associate of the Higher Education Academy. Sara began a Masters in Business Administration, specialising in Educational Leadership and Management in 2020 and is currently exploring potential research areas of interest.
In terms of coaching, Sara has gained an enormous amount of experience in coaching football at all levels with her most recent role being the assistant coach for the Wales Women U19 squad.
