Teresa Davies

Teresa began working in the NHS as a Health Care Support Worker in 2001. She qualified as a registered nurse in 2006, working for BCUHB in a variety of positions; surgical staff nurse at YGC, community nurse, district nurse, discharge liaison nurse, Macmillan end of life care facilitator and finally as a Band 7 Diabetes Specialist nurse in primary care. She began working at Wrexham University in 2018.

Teresa teaches on the Community Specialist Practice District Nursing programme, Principles of Wound care and Management of  Diabetes Module. She is proud to be a queens nurse, NMC registrant visitor and is on the board of editors for the Journal of Community Nursing.

On weekends, Teresa likes to be outside, hiking and cold water dipping in the mountains with her Labrador Bailey . To relax she loves yoga retreats, strong coffee, and sauna.
