Education Team Present at BERA
Last week with the support of the university's research and development award, Lisa Formby attended the British Educational Research Association (BERA) conference held at the University of Manchester.
The BERA conference provides an opportunity for delegates from all over the world to disseminate their research and network with other like-minded colleagues.
Lisa is part of a research team from Wrexham, comprising of Dr Sue Horder, Karen Rhys Jones and Tomos Gwydion ap Sion, and they have been working for the last three years on the Embedding Research and Enquiry in School (EREiS) Welsh Government funded project. Their work in collaboration with Bangor University formed part of a symposium and was presented alongside work from colleagues at other HEIs in Wales, who are also part of the larger project.
Just before the conference, Lisa was informed their symposium had been shortlisted for an award in the ‘Educational research and educational policy making’ category and she is waiting to hear if they have been successful.
