Wrexham University is home to a wide variety of top-class sporting venues, providing excellent facilities for anyone who wishes to continue playing sport whilst they study - or perhaps trying something for the first time.

Sports Hall

The Sports Centre houses a 1000sq. m. hall, with a top-quality maple strip sprung floor.

The facility complies with national competition standards for badminton, netball, basketball, volleyball and futsal.

We also have provision for table tennis, pickleball and matting for martial arts.

Fitness Suite

Our Fitness Suite is open to students, staff and community users with trained staff on-hand to offer support and advice when required.

It has a cardio room including bikes, treadmills, cross trainer and rowers and a weights room with resistance equipment including an Olympic bar and a selection of free weights.

Water Based Astro Turf Pitch

This exceptional floodlit facility has been host to many an international event including EuroHockey Nations Trophy (men), International Test matches, Junior Celtic Cup Tournament and is home to Wrexham Hockey Club (Junior, Men & Ladies).

The facility is also used by many local community football teams for their evening training sessions under the floodlights.
