Graduate Outcomes

Once you have graduated from Wrexham Glyndŵr University, our support doesn’t end there. As a graduate, you can still enjoy all the careers support and guidance you had as a student with us.

We are here to support you into work or further study. All our resources are on-hand to help you, from giving application and interview advice through to guidance on your next steps. Continue to access support through our WGUconnect Alumni Login.

Graduate Outcomes Survey

You may be aware of the Graduate Outcomes Survey; this is a national survey that helps future students see their potential career destinations. You will receive an email invitation from HESA to complete the survey online around 15 months after completing your course. They may also call and ask you to complete the survey over the phone.

Your responses to the Graduate Outcomes Survey will help future students see their potential career destinations. It also helps Wrexham Glyndŵr University with course evaluation and planning for the future. The information is used by policymakers and other agencies to understand the higher education sector and make decisions.

How and when will I be surveyed?

You will receive an email invitation from glyndwruniversity@graduateoutcomes.ac.uk to complete the survey online around 15 months after completing your course. You may also receive text reminders from ‘GradOutcomes’- these texts will contain a link to the online survey. If you receive a phone call regarding the survey, it will be from IFF Research. They will introduce themselves as calling on behalf of Wrexham Glyndŵr University.

How will my responses be used?

At the start of the survey, HESA will outline how your responses will be processed, who will have access to it and what they plan to use it for. For example, HESA will share your data with us and we will use it for evaluation, planning and similar activities.

How do I make sure I am invited to take part?

As long as we have your up to date contact information, you do not need to do anything. To update your contact information, please email graduateoutcomes@glyndwr.ac.uk. If they cannot contact you HESA may seek the information from a third party contact, such as a family member. You can provide Wrexham Glyndŵr University with alternative contact information and we will forward it on to HESA.

How are my details being shared and protected?

Wrexham Glyndŵr University is required to share the contact information we currently hold about you with HESA.  Your updated contact information will only be used by HESA to contact you about the Graduate Outcomes Survey. This is outlined in the HESA student collection notice. This was shared with you during enrolment via our privacy statement.

What if I don’t want to take part?

It is not compulsory to complete the Graduate Outcomes survey. You will be able to opt out when you are invited to complete the survey. However you can only opt out via HESA.
