The Anaesthetic Care in Practice module is designed for Registered Nurses who have an ambition to work as an Anaesthetic Practitioner. The module will give you the required qualification to care for patients during the anaesthetic induction, maintenance, and emergence during their perioperative journey.

BSc Degree in Nursing

NMC Registration

Currently working within an operating theatre setting

Teaching & Assessment

Teaching will be a blend of theoretical and practical sessions, with some pre- and post-session work.

Assessment will be a combination of a 3,000-word case study assignment and practice competencies, which will be completed on placement in the clinical environment under the supervision of a practice educator.
